Dream Catcher

For those who dreams need to be caught here is your dream catcher

Mother Earth's Tartaruga Song

In Native American culture, a dreamcatcher is a handmade object based on a hoop (traditionally of willow), incorporating a loose net, and decorated with items unique to the particular dreamcatcher. There is a traditional belief that a dreamcatcher filters a person's dreams, letting through only the good ones. There are related legends.
Some are made with color beads and each color has a meaning also the type of feathers used has meanings such as Eagle means power, hawk means watchful.. etc.Stone meanings

Don't just look for them. Grab them and hold them in your heart and achieve them.

Dreamcatchers are an authentic American Indian tradition, from the Ojibway (Chippewa) tribe. The people would tie sinew strands in a web around a small round or tear-shaped frame–in a somewhat similar pattern to how they tied webbing for Ojibway snowshoes–and hang this "dream-catcher" as a charm to protect sleeping children from nightmares. The legend is that the bad dreams will get caught in the web and fade away in the morning to the place where dreams are kept.

Don't allow anything to hold us back from catching our dreams.
I have a purple one < my favorite color> hanging in my bedroom.
Do you have yours?

  1. what a lovely post eve… cool pictures too.yes, i have a dreamcatcher… it works. at least i haven’t had any bad dreams for years. lots of cool dreams… must be a good dreamcatcher.

  2. Dearest EveI have a dreamcatcher too! In fact, it looks very much like the one in the first picture of your post. You should find out what gemstone is in the dreamcatcher because they all have specific functions, like if it’s obsidian or staurolite then it offers the person protection. I am not even certain what gemstones are in mine 😆 But I have given dreamcatchers as gifts to people and I just think that they are wonderful. You are supposed to put the dreamcatcher in sunlight to release whatever negative energies it has filtered out from your dreams. Someone I gave a dreamcatcher to told me that once.Love,JCL.
