Cleaning … A funny post

HI Again,

I am so tired from work so I am posting something again easy until I can gather my brain
to do a musical post 🙁 thank you all for your loyal readership.

My friend sent me this and she is really good at sending me funny emails so I hope you enjoy this and get the sense of humor behind this post.

Cleaning Poem

I asked the Lord to tell me
Why my house is such a mess.
He asked if I'd been 'putering',
And I had to answer "yes."

He told me to get off my fanny
And tidy up the house.
And so I started cleaning up…
The smudges off my mouse.

I wiped and shined the topside.
That really did the trick…
I was just admiring my work…
I didn't mean to 'click.'

But click, I did, and oops I found
A real absorbing site
That I got SO way into…
I was into it all night.<<Sigh>>

Nothing's changed except my mouse
It's very, very shiny.
I guess my house will stay a mess…
While I sit here on my hiney.

  1. Hi Eve, great poem and a little to true! I didn’t watch the Oscars this year as I haven’t seen any of the films, so didn’t much care who got what. though it would be cool to make a long and rambling, maudling, tearful mess of a speech. Q.

  9. Thanks for this one, made me chuckle and think of how glad I am that I don’t spend too many hours in this particular house.I agree that the Oscars were a bit boring. Probably has to do with the host and his influence of content. However, in my family, Oscar night is a cellabration with food, snacks and a competion of who can guess the most winners.the best of my regards to you……….

  10. HI Everyone,thanks for enjoying this cleaning post I love these computer funnies don’t you ? I use to have the OSCAR night as a big party time too with my kids it was food fest and really alot of fun but now with the different hosts they really messed up not having Billy Crystal I really enjoyed him.Thanks for all your well wishes I am getting back to my health now my new work is draining me 🙂 It will balance out soon, I am starting 3 new things at once and once I master them I will be FINE 🙂 Love to all,Eve
