I was listening to this song
and it reminded me of a time in the 90s
when I was living on a dairy farm with a husband at that time who was a farmer.
We were taking the moutain road home in his pickup truck and the season was summer time and the air was full of fragrances from the fresh night aire.
3 of my 5 kids were in the back of the truck as they loved to ride in the back and see the stars and the full view of the night sky.
We reached the top of the hill and at this point you can over look the valley were our home was located and the other houses of the farm we lived on.
As we sat up on the top of the hill something very huge and dark and silent passed before us and I have never seen anything like this in my life.. I have seen UFOs however, nothing as large and silent as this one.
This happened before the moive " Independance Day " was ever written.. The ship we all saw in front of us looked just like the huge one in this moive.. Silent and black and slow moving..
I couldn't breathe, I asked my then husband to turn of the lights and motor and all of us to be quiet.
This ship floated with no sound and such ease and very few lights however, it darkened the sky we were looking at previously filled with stars and as it passed before us no stars were visible due to the vastness of it's size.
I don't know how long this took place I just know it did take place and it scared all of us to the point of not breathing.
On this farm many nights I have gone up in the corn fields and layed with my children star gazing and seeing small lights playing in the skies.. 
This area, The Hudson Valley, of New York State has been a huge maganet for UFO sightings and also well known to the gazers for the Mother Ship sighting..
I called my childrens science teacher who lived down the road from us and explained to him what we saw.. He explained we were very lucky to have witnessed what we did. 🙂
I thought I would share this cherished moment with you..

HI Soheil,Where I use to live it was POSSIBLE.. you can’t imagine how clear the nights were and still are.. and the total silence was pure heaven still is 🙂 I use to go snow mobileing up in the woods at night and to have deer jump across you as you drove through their homes and to see foxes and racoons right next to you as you glided thru the paths that they use also was almost heaven. In my mind I have clear photos of all this however, no photos to place on my blog 🙁 I know from living in Egypt and the noise levels there, it’s hard to believe there is such places however, in USA there are many like this and this is where I live now it;s country not city and boring and freah aire and peace and boring :)I love city life and the action and the people not the driving to the stores and driving to get anywhere due to it being so rural.Thank you for reading and always commenting.. Hi Fatimah :)About eight years ago I was in my sister’s car and we were on our way to see a movie at a shopping mall and Johannesburg is a big city, lots of lights and cars. And as we were driving my sister suddenly said, “What’s that?” She pointed into the night sky and there was this bright light that moved so quickly across the sky – faster than anything I had ever seen before and noiseless (unlike a plane or a fighter jet). And it wasn’t just a small dot in the sky – it was big, but it was so bright that it was difficult to tell it’s actual shape. It burned so bright there was a trail of green across my retina. And then it just blinked out of existence – one second it was there and then it wasn’t. There wasn’t even anything in the sky to indicate that it had been there but we had both seen it – and probably countless other people too. That’s when that great feeling hit me, the one where everything you ever suspected or thought about is suddenly confirmed as being true. Hi JCL,yes these lights you saw are the kind I use to see playing and dancing in the night skies .. I use to see 3 of them at one time each taking turns going to other parts of the sky and then coming back and then the other one would go and return and the next etc.one time I woke up my eldest grandson to come see these lights with me and we were standing at the back door at 3am watching this.. then one of them sent down a small ball of light which hovered over the pasture land across the road from me.When my grandson saw this he hit the bed and left me standing there holding my breath as I didn’t want the light to sense me standing there watching it doing whatever it was doing and it was very close to my back door only meters away. I can’t wait for the warmer weather to come so I can go out by the lake and see if I can find anything here in Ct. Thanks for sharing your great story too.. WE ARE NOT ALONE :)LoveFatimah

Near my apartment is a scarp. On its bottom the river flows and along the river is a highway. Nearby is and old observatory. I often go there to look at sunsets and to look at the town and the skyscrapers. One evening looking into the space which opens from the scarp I saw dim lights in the sky. They were playing. I was astonished and could’t beleive mmy eyes. I wached them for half an hour and then wend home with a sense of fullness and elevation. Thaks for reminding me about this wonderful experience.
