All work and No Play?

Ascension Mike Oldfield

Today I had to do a store in the state of Massachuttes and my daughter with the 2 girls had to go school shopping so we figured since my store was close to her place to shop we would go together .

I wanted to give each of my grand-daughters some money for back to school clothes too not much but something they can shop with and also let me feel I am helping them in a small way.

Of course they enjoyed receiving the money as well 😉

My daughter dropped me off at my store and then took the girls shopping and then came back after 2 hours and helped me finished up since I was having problems locating some of the products which are new to me and the store being very unorganized.

After this we went to lunch at a all you can eat buffet and then the fun began.

My oldest granddaughter became really funny and we sat there eating and having many laughs we were chosing what foods to take and then we sat at the table to eat.

After my oldest ate she had ice cream in a cone and was making jokes with it so I pushed it into her face by her surprise and we all had a huge laugh on this one. She was shocked and was laughing so hard it almost feel down on her lap.

The she was giggling and said, " You almost knocked me off the seat" I said, " LIKE THIS?" as I pushed her off the seat. hahah at this point her leg flew up on the table and knocked into the glass of lemonade and it flew up into my daughters face .

What a huge roar of laughter we all had, it was the funnist thing I have seen in many years as I use to have all this fun with my children when they were younger.

My daughter at this point said we better leave before they throw us out.. So we left.

My oldest granddaughter was sugared up by the time we got into the car and was saying HI HI HI to all in the street it was so funny she was even getting upset they didn't hear her..

Finally the sugar wore off and she was again quiet.. All in all we had a great afternoon ..

All work and YES PLAY at least today .

Thanks for reading I really hope you can see the fun I had for a change this day was a great day .

Love,
Fati

  6. Hi FatimahWell, that certainly does sound like a fun time. Food fights are the best 🙂 I don’t know if it’s something I would attempt at home though :lol:It’s good to have light-hearted moments and it’s amazing how it can make all your troubles seem like they are so far away. And all we need to do is to take that feeling with us, make it last a little bit longer… life is never so bad then :)To the next moment then!Love, JCL.
