This was one of the most emotional posts I have done and my heart aches
from hearing this song now and remembering the night I heard it when the first Bush sent the US into war back in the 90s and feeling how many people on all sides will be killed.
Dedicated to all those who died and
will die and
who hold peace in their
hearts
This is my tribute to 9-11..
If there was not any GREED and Hate
there would never have been a
9-11.
From a distance the world looks blue and green,
and the snow-capped mountains white.
From a distance the ocean meets the stream,
and the eagle takes to flight.
From a distance, there is harmony,
and it echoes through the land.
It's the voice of hope, it's the voice of peace,
it's the voice of every man.
From a distance we all have enough,
and no one is in need.
And there are no guns, no bombs, and no disease,
no hungry mouths to feed.
From a distance we are instruments
marching in a common band.
Playing songs of hope, playing songs of peace.
They're the songs of every man.
God is watching us. God is watching us.
God is watching us from a distance.
From a distance you look like my friend,
even though we are at war.
From a distance I just cannot comprehend
what all this fighting is for.
From a distance there is harmony,
and it echoes through the land.
And it's the hope of hopes, it's the love of loves,
it's the heart of every man.
It's the hope of hopes, it's the love of loves.
This is the song of every man.
And God is watching us, God is watching us,
God is watching us from a distance.
Oh, God is watching us, God is watching.
God is watching us from a distance…

Hi,FatimahThank you for sharing this national boundariless post.I appreciate what you say in this post and I agree with you. From a distance we can share our hearts with each other; From a distance we can share our loves with each other; From a distance we can share God in our heart with each other. We share the only earth(beautiful from a distance). All around world,we hope peace and love peace.Every morning, when we wake up,we hope to see the smiling face of our lovers and families. Then we hope to go to work, hopeful and cheerful. After work, when we go back home at night,we hope to have a delicious meal with our families.Everyone should make his or her life meaningful to help the people who need.If everyone can help each other, there could be no hunger, poverty and disease. The world will become harmonious, full of hope, peace and love.:)LoveLi Wang
My Dear Fati,From a distance we can all get along together. It’s too bad that when people, cultures, religions and politics get closer, the clashes start.Maybe we should just keep at a distance.Great Post! 😀
Hi fatima :)You’re right, these peace words are not only for you or your country – these are the words of every man who wants peace. This 9/11 accident happened in USA but the whole world got affected, it is not because USA in powerful – it is because all the world wants peace and the time had come to take some strong actions. There were no eyes who didn’t have tears, everyone was sad on that day and even today after 5 years when we think about that day we all still feel the same thing again :(I hope these bad people will no longer be able to do such thing again. I pray no more people will lost their lives. With hope of peace and love everywhere :)sadaf
HI Li WangYes you are so right we all want this in our lives the peace and the end of the day seeing our families and enjoying the beautiful world we all live in and then the monsters get in our way become greedy for OIL and money and power and they stirr up problems and make our lives hell for their own benefits. NOT OURS.Life was much simple way back when people’s needs were simple, now it’s always more more more .Thank you for your loving comment and I know it’s straight from your heart, I love it so much when you share your heartfelt words . thank you :):heart:Fati
HI Sadaf,You are right so many had tears in all counties,, while I was living in Egypt so many told me their feelings about that day and how much they cried for the loss of lives of all the people not just the Muslims that died but all the people .Everyone in the world saw it and watched for days on tv the hard work of the fire fighters and the police and even DOGS who died trying to save the people burried. Many went to New York city to volunteer to give out water and food for the rescue workers and the dogs too . many lost their lives and even today many of the helpers are sick from the dust they breathed in while searching for people who might still been alive . I went down there in 2005 and seen the place called ” GROUND ZERO” it had an errie feeling and the photos are in my album. Thank you for sharing your heart and comments and also your tears.LoveFati
HI Dave,Your right .. from a distance Iraq had their own problems and then the USA invaded them along with the UK and uninvited too I might add.. so we caused the distance to be voidedand if we stayed at a distance… many of our soldiers would not be deadand their families would not be missing children. Also soldiers and civilians of Iraq too and other countries have lost lives as well. From a distance is the key word… we were not invited there or needed there. Thank you for reading and sharing Fati
