I watched this movie today and felt I was on the expedition along side
these 3 men who were dedicated for the journey.
right to left:
Charlie Engle, USA
Expedition Team Leader / Expedition Originator
Ray Zahab, Canada
A former elite equestrian rider,
Kevin Lin, Taiwan
28 years old, Kevin is one of the most well known endurance athletes in all of Asia.
Running Across The Saraha was more than a competition it was a spirit
renewal for all whom where involved not just the runners.
Giving up was the easy part.. it was the "Staying in" which was the hardest.
The men found a new meaning to "LIFE" seeing the faces of village children running next to them
holding their hands encouraging them to keep going !!!
This was more than a documentary it was a new outlook on life for anyone who will take the
mini vacation and journey along side all whom deicated their time and efforts in this film.
The sights they have seen and the cultures of many countries they have devoured
has really set deeply into their beings for the rest of their lives..
They now have a new meaning ..
A new Passion…
"Your worth is judged by the footprints you leave behind.."
for these men there have been many footprints and heartprints.
They will live forever in all of the hearts they have touched
and inspired by their suffering and endurance and courage.
I am so happy I took this journey and got to see parts of Egypt again
I have also traveled on those same roads and to the Red Sea.
Thank you for all who will read this and also take the journey.
With love,
