Drilling In The Dark

All day I have been stressing about going to the dentist.
I don't know why however, I did go..

The North East in USA had high winds advisory today and gusts up to 50mph. It was hard at times to control the car due to the wind blowing things around.

I got my work done in a few stores and worked my way homewards to get to my appointment on time.

I thought to stop off at one store and do it for this other company I work for also part time.. I no sooner walked in the door .. BAMMM tha power went off.. so I did my work fast and continued to drive towards Connecticut .

The winds were stronger in Connecticut.. As I drove towards the dentist office I see a large traffic jam..

2 telephone poles came down and was blocking roads.. Not the road I was on so I was safe to get to my designation.

The dentist took me a bit late due to 2 unexpected appointments so I had a nice conversation with a medical salesman.. I enjoyed speaking to him and getting rid of my stress.

My turn to get in the chair and the dentist gives me the Novocain and waits until my mouth is numb so he can do 4 teeth for drilling.

Drilling 4 teeth at one time .. he was fast and efficent however,
how did we know ANOTHER TELEPHONE POLE would come down making a total of 3 in one day in the same location.

The room went to BLACK . he was drilling and then not drilling. No power no drilling.. We waited to see if the power will come back however, it did not so before it got any darker the dentist decided to give me temporary fillings .

We had to find a chair which was already laying down inorder for him to do the fillings.. this too was funny since the room I was in originally did not have windows and was pitch black.

By flashlight the dentist put in the temp fillings 2 girls in the room one holding the flashlight one helping with my mouth and then the 3 one comes in with a camera and takes a photo of him working by flashlight for a keepsake..

I didn't expect this today when I woke up that I would have my teeth done by flashlight.. We had so many laughs this too I would have never expected to have in a dentist chair.

I have to go back Saturday to get the permanent fillings in.
I wonder if any more telephone polls will fall ?

I thought it would be funny to post this story since it is true
and rare to have happen.

  10. yes ,no worries my young lovlies ! im still at my senate meeting…Just winding down,almost time to head home.I will call Jay and tell him that I have to have a pic,and he will LOVE that im posting his pic ! so be patient a bit longer and you will be rewarded !

  28. he didnt make it over today…im sorry ! hes got car issues and a phone that doesnt take pics….were working on it tho,i promise ! he really wants to see her pic…i cant get to him either cuz of my licence situation…but i did take the drivers test today and PASSED! now i have to do is get my insurance papers to the state and get my new plates and im back on the road ! geeze what a hassle…ill NEVER let my insurance lapse again! but as for Jay….hes not goiin anywhere and Ill get his pic on here soon as I possibly can a Oh and HI FATI ! I MISS AND LOVE YOU !

  30. thanks my darling friend ! geeze i wrote a whole letter about my wkend yesterday ! I dont want to just talk about me…weeeelllll ok lol ! on fri.nite after karioki we piled twenty people into an elevator…..and got stuck! It was crazy! there was this girl who was claustrophobic and started to panic…i tried to calm her down but her friend got mad! it took about 15 min.for them to let us out ! wahat a crazy experience.NEVERtry to fit 20 ppl on an elevetor! It was so much fun were doing a funraier to go to the next one ! I love student senate ! Im on the fundraising committe now and also the christmas card committee! Ill be a busy girl noe for sure !

I don’t drive car infact any vehicle even a bike hahaha :doh: i know nothing 😥 i know about cell at least my cell :DTHAT Was CRAZY cat, 20 people in an elevator?   38. It was pretty crazy ! lucky we werent stuck that long…and the next day the senate pres.gave a little lecture on elevator ettiquet…hahaha We were all very careful after that !
