Going Tribal

A new show on Discovery channel called "Going Tribal" I watched it the other night and I found it to be intersting and at the same time scarey.

Another episode is on tonight where this guy lives among tribes of Africa and tonight he will be living and learning the ways of Canabals.. I do hope he doesn't taste the flesh of humans 🙁

The other night he drank cows blood as this tribe does during the dry season.. It's a source of protein for them, this man who is going tribal did this too. YUCK 🙁

I thought you might like to hear about this show, maybe you will enjoy it too.

Just a heads up for those outside US too.

  1. I saw the previews for the show and just those little glimpses grossed me out. WOW! It is not fun to watch a show, when I have my eyes covered during half of it. 😆

  2. Drinking cow’s blood is part of the Masai’s tradition – at least I think this is the Masai tribe they might have been showing. Apparently they do it in such a way that it doesn’t kill the cow. Livestock is very important to them. Quite amazing!

    I will keep an eye out for it – don’t know if they will show it on our Discovery channel yet.

    I thought the same thing but I forced myself to see it and I am so happy I did. I now have a better understanding of canibalism.

    Watch it next week it won’t be so bad 🙂 he goes from place to place all different countries too .

    I am not sure if it was them but they did say this tribe did ” BLEEDING” for the blood and it didn’t hurt the cows and yet it provides protein for the people.

    I love shows like this since I do learn from them and I felt it was like what you were talking about in your posting about the course you are taking.

    cultures are so varried in all countries and to know them and understand them is a great education.

    I have lived and learned about Egyptian culture and I still don’t understand them 🙂 haha

  7. Hello Eve,Unfortunately I can’t watch these shows here without having a satelite connection. But I love watching documentaries and there are a few good channels on the TV here as well.Have a nice eveningElmar

Elmar you can download them 🙂 all the great tv shows on on torrents now..www.bitcomet.com great program 😀 I don’t know how fast your connection is but if you have better than dial up you can download any show your heart desires.. This show is one of my very favorite.. I love seeing all the differnt countries this guy goes to.. I miss my satelite in Egypt too I got to see so many countries satelites programming.:)Eve
