POSTING PROBLEMS IN OPERA 8.5

HI everyone,

I upgraded to the 8.5 and since then I can't reply to any journal postings is anyone else experiencing this problem??

I wrote in the forums however, I can't find the post now 🙁

If any one knows the answer to this problem please let me know 🙂 thank you

Nothing new just to much work as usual.

I have been watching Rita as well .. another horror story.

  1. Hi Eve,I managed to make a comment here. I’ve been having exactly the same problem on most of my friends list so it’s a shock to be able to get in.Maybe they fixed something.

  2. Eve, …and I’m also here now too :)I hope it was as a result of the (HELP?) messages I posted yesterday in two blogs of mine and the other mail messages I sent to you, Eve, and also to JCL and K4.Now we are all back ….let’s rolllllll!lokutus 🙂

  3. The times are changing. 😉 I had some problems with the 9 beta version. Not regarding the blog but in general. I had to reinstall it several times until now. Anyways, it’s a beta version and I love the widgets and panels function. 🙂 Do you use version 9?CheersElmar

  4. Yes I use 9 and had and still have problems with it but the widgets are a great feature..do you use the Pandora widget? I do and I love it .I read on a blog about Pandora player and I downloaded it then the guy writes me and tells me about the widget and I installed that and use it instead. There is also a weather widget as well :)Happy to know your 9 is functioning well.. I still can’t read my gmail in the read window I have to hit reply and read it in the reply window :((( I have asked them to fix it but due to it being 3rd party I guess they don’t care :(( any advice?Eve

  5. Yep, I use both widgets, the Pandora and the weather widget. The chess game, the Wikipedia widget, BBC, the guitar chords widget and many others are excellent too. It was kind of difficult to make my Hotmail account work in Opera because it’s not a POP3 one. Now I use the Webmail Retriever that fetches the mail to the Opera browser. But after some days you’re supposed to pay for it and then I have to look for another solution. Sorry but I don’t know anything about GMail. :(See youElmar
