Kingdom of Heaven……….the movie


Hi all,

My sister and I just finished watching this movie, " THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN"
I love epic movies and anything with Liam Neeison:knight: can't be bad 😉

This movie was taken out of history during the 11th century when the Crusaders and Saladin were battling over Jerusalem, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Siege_of_Jerusalem_(1187)

I find it to be repeating itself now with all the problems in the same area and for the same reasons.

I find this movie to be a good one to see and the landscape is magical well worth the 2 hours of your time.. I had a mini vacation today I feel much better now 🙂

  4. Hi EveI really enjoyed “Kingdom of Heaven”. I like the perspective it took of the Crusades – it was (I felt) a very realistic angle of the intentions of the people driving the Crusades. An excellent movie if only for that!JCL.

HI Dan and JCL.yes it was very realistic too I felt, I have seen other movies that represented Islam and the holy wars and all of them were great.There is a movie called, “The History of Islam” and they show all thru the ages how Islam became the powerful religion in mass numbers and the Crusaders who did invade became Muslims after years of occupation.. Very interesting and factual as well.I feel this movie and the actors were very well done.. Nice to see JCL thinks the same :)LoveEve
