Happy Halloween

This is the time of year that really inspires me, bring back memories of days filled with laughter and giggles and family.

I remember over 35 years of trick or treating, and still hearing and seeing the faces of my children and grandchildren having so much fun in one simple night.

Princess to Firemen.. . the costumes were made and worn and with pride.:hat:

We can set back the clocks, I only wish we can set back the years.

Trick or Treat rings out a million plus times in just a short evening, bringing friendships and closeness to strangers and kindness from our neighbors.:king: :queen:

Why just one night?

Trick or Treat ?

Love
Eve

  5. Hi EveHalloween is a wonderful festival. We don’t celebrate it here of course 🙁 But I think it’s great and it must be so much fun for the kids. I have an e-mail buddy in California and he sent me a whole bunch of candy last year for Halloween. That was so cool for me.

  6. HI CapeG,Just imagine being dressed up in a costume and no one knows you as you go from door to door knocking and saying, ” TRICK OR TREAT” and seeing the decorations in the homes and hearing laughter, it’s a very magical time. It’s the magic that I wish everyone would carry not just on one day but all year long.

  7. Happy pumpkin festival!the ghouls are out here tonight, but I’m staying home with my 3 in 1!

  8. Hi EveAs CapeGirl stated, we don’t celebrate Halloween in South Africa 🙁 I can’t even imagine what it must be like for parents to have to get costumes made for Halloween. It must be fun though. As for the candy – I eat that everyday of my life! Except for boiled sweets – there’s a moratorium on that! I suspect that would be most of what I would collect anyway! :lol:Hope you have fun!Love, JCL.P.S. They do show an awful lot of horror movies during the month of October in South Africa. Tonight they are showing a documentary on the Discovery Channel, called “A Haunting in Georgia” about a little girl who has two imaginary friends, who turn out to be not so benevolent after all! Should be good!

  9. HI JCL,Maybe you can start a holloween tradition 🙂 it is so much fun and not just for kids :wink:When I was clubbing they would hold costume contests for the best one, of course I didn’t win there were to many really great ones. I just threw something fast together. They do show alot of horror movies too here during the month of Oct. and the Discovery channel now has a new program on about ghosts and paranormal and the first show started in Connecticut …. it figures LOL.Enjoy and keep that candy flowing :)LoveEve
