Over a Cup of Coffee

I took this new job for the weekends due to having the weekend off.
I don't like to be home for 2 days in a row
since there isn't much to do but office work
and I am trying to get out of doing work all the time.

The holiday shopping season is starting now and I want to feel the excitment so taking this weekend job doing a demonstration of this coffee machine really will give me some socialization with many people and so much fun.

I had a great time on Saturday, I met every employee of the Sears store I was working in and they all seem to recieve me with open hearts.

I felt really welcomed and I think I will have TOO much fun each weekend. Right now it's only on Saturdays however,
after November it will be Saturday and Sundays.

One of the young managers there, Alan, he is a writer and we spent time talking about writing and he offered to show me his writing, I can't wait to read it and maybe he will let me share some of his work on my blog ? WE shall see 🙂

I now have a free machine as you see in the webpage and free coffee and tea how bad is this job ?

Sometimes you crack me up, Fatimah! :lol:You are the only person I know who decides to take on a part-time job to get out of working all the time! :lol:I realize that you are saying that what you will be doing on the weekends will actually be fun (rather than chained to a desk); however, you will still be “working”, Fatimah!Anyway, having said that, GOOD LUCK on your new weekend adventure! HI Sarah,Alan is not pro computers, he is very much for using the pen, I have already spoken to him about writing on the pc he rather use the pen lol.I won’t give up on converting him :DI will be back there this Saturday and I am hoping to get to read his work.I am also enjoying the free coffee now which they send each week to me :)LoveFati

  9. HI Lee,I have always done this .. I use to work 5 days a week and did flea markets on the weekend to be around people and have a BALL 🙂 I got the whole flea market to go out after work and party and I intend to do this with the people in Sears.I have already mentioned going out and they said YES !!! If I do the same work all the time then I get bored but to work in different types of work and around differnt people really makes my work FUN.. Thanks for understandingFatimah
