I usually get bored with the Oscars however,
last night I was happy to see great people
finally get their rewards for years of
dedicated work and talents.
I have seen Babel and The Departed and
both movies in my opinion are fantastic.
Congrats to all the winners and to those
who were nominated as well. These are for you.
You all deserve an Oscar in my book.

Hi FatimahI, too, thought that it was a good choice of awards. I have yet to see “The Queen” and “Babel” – but I thoroughly enjoyed “The Departed” and was glad to see Martin Scorsese get his first Oscar. It often makes me wonder how such steadfast figures in the movie industry get passed over so many times???Anyway, I just thought I would drop by and say “Hi” and that I do think of you and I will be back to blogging soon. Hi Ramute,I am sure you will get the movies soon now that they are done showinghere in USA. The make big bucks showing films in Europe and they even keep track of the box office payouts too from European markets as they do in US markets.There are a few more movies I want to see when they do come out .. 300 is oneand also spiderman 3 :)LoveFati

Babel and Children of Men were great films well worth seeing a few timesinfact .. The photography was outstanding in both films.
