OPERA Forums ??????


I would like to know OPERA why each time I post a question in your so called FORUMS you either move my question or you CLOSE IT as you did today?????

I am so sick of what you call FORUMS and it seems to be only for CHATTERS or mindless GAMES ….. not for people who need HELP!!!!!

this is what I got today ..

deleting messages

I was wondering if anyone knows how I can delete messages in mass volume rather than check off
each box one by one?

I have let them buid up so now there are over 1500 in box and I really don't want to see how many
in the out box

  3. Hmm… weird… are you following the forum guidelines? Perhaps, there is just a misunderstanding. You should look at other people’s posts and compare them to yours. I already have 274 (and counting) posts, yet I haven’t encountered the problem you are experiencing.Finally, if nothing else helps, you can just send a private message to someone in authority at the OC ;)I hope that helps.

  5. I only post on the forums when I really need an answer quick and they always move my question or like now they LOCKED IT.. Was my question so horrible?? Gesh !!!!yet if you want to play those mindless games they are ALL FOR IT .. Go figure. Thanks for replying and I guess we are all on our own,. 🙁

  6. My limited interaction with this is also negative. There seemed to be no place to just say “hey, I’ve got a problem.” You’ve got to be so specific that you could probably solve the problem yourself.

I rec’d this in a PM concerning deleting messages in the INBOXUse the keyboard, it is much quicker than the mouse.Hit the Tab key and space bar alternately to flag messags for deletion.Tab moves to the next check-box; spacebar marks it or clears the check mark.I tried it and it works great .. 😀 thanks to a nice Opera person wrote me concerning this issue and he doesn’t RUN THE FORUMS 🙂

  10. Right, I’m assuming you mean inboxes received within the My Opera community. There’s a different forum to use for feedback and problems, which is probably why they locked it. Personally I’d have moved the topic to the right forum and inboxed you about it, but I’m not the one doing this stuff eh?

  11. Oh! Heavens to Betsy!:)One must consider housekeeping, (not to say that having 150 to delete is messy), in order to keep the place clean and tidy. :lol:I had to do this just last week:(Page by page……..box by box.What a pain in the………..

  13. Hi Dave and Furie,yes it is a pain doing it one by one however, this new way is much easierand faster and if you have to go thru the pain of deleting all what better way 🙂 Thanks for trying it out too Furie,who needs the forums ? 😀
