Brooklyn Bridge

Left Where It Fell

It's hard to believe this wonderful strong bridge which is
a landmark for Brooklyn NY was a source of protection from the
environment for many whom called under this bridge….
HOME.

Today at the grocery store I asked for a half a pound of turkey breast,
and I received so much more.

I didn't get his name only some history of his life, from Brooklyn NY to Canaan CT
he has lived a few life times and shared with me today only a small part.

He was living under this bridge for 5 years due to being homeless and not wanting
any handouts.

One day a film crew was filming a part of the movie there and added this man to the
list .. The movie was "The Fisherking" He had a small part which fit him, a homeless man
who lived under the Manhattan Bridge.. PERFECT!

This man also played extras in King Kong and another movie I did not get the name of.

From homeless to chef, he worked his way into a life without taking charity, he became a
chef at a private school near to my house and now one of the students owns a resturant
in New York City and wants this man to be his chef..

I told him today, " I would not pass this opportunity up"
he replied," I went down there last week and cooked for a short time
to feel it out and I liked it"

I have a feeling he will be moving back down to New York City
enjoying the life he holds dear in his heart.
