When I was 9 years old I use to spend my time
going to the local ASPCA.. animal shelter rescuing
dogs from being killed.
I didn't know how to do it as they do it now,
however, my heart was in the right place and
my apartment was full of dogs and I was always
in trouble with my family.
I saw beatings from one man to these poor dogs
and reported him directly to the shelter CEO.
The man was fired from my report and from that day
forward I knew I had the power of voice.
I did manage to find homes for some of the dogs
however not all..
This show.. "Last Chance Highway" has captured a spot in my
heart and each time I watch it .. tears of joy are shed
for all those involved in saving the lives of so many dogs
and sharing love from the dogs which would have been killed.
