Finally some time off …….ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

HI All,

I finally rec'd 2 days off this week after working 8 straight days and in this heat 🙁 .

The INN has airconditioners in the rooms however, the laundry room is like a sauna but without the wine.

I have been trying to catch up on my readings here in O land and I noticed some of our friends have stopped posting. Moon and Howard and maybe a few others.

I know we are all busy and sometimes it's hard to find great things to talk about or share. Just know I am trying to do both.

Busy as a bee they say … buzzzzzzzzzzz

    Wow ! nice to see you again 😉

    I know it’s hard to have something good to post when all you do is work, look at me :insane:

    In Egypt I had a lot of time to think and write and now in USA I don’t.

    I started back to the INN working a few days after returning to USA .. It was the newspaper job I had problems with and now I refuse to work for them .. ungrateful people they are :furious: It’s their loss for being bigots !

    I do miss writing and feeling and being close to all of you as I was .. well maybe one day it will happen again … Egypt isn’t that far off .

  2. I do agree with JCL.
    Sometimes we take to long between posts mainly because of too much work to do or because we have nothing really important to write about.
    I have to confess that once I was fond of long posts, debating about stuff. Now I’m getting into a “shot posts” phase. Not sure if it’s an effect of having not much to write about, or another consequence of the high amount of work I’ve been into. 😉
    BTW, Eve: good to know you’re back at the Inn. I thought you had some trouble on having your job back first hand. Nevermind…

  4. Well, I certainly know that it has been sometime since my last post. I have actually been quite busy in the past week or so. And I haven’t had anything to write about except for today. So right now I am sitting with my two dogs on my bed – they’re napping and I’m writing. Anyway, I hope you enjoy your days off from work. It’s a public holiday in South Africa tomorrow, so it’s kind of nice to have a mid-week break.

    lovely to hear from both you and K4 (…did you know there’s some sort of a ‘bid’ on to gain her favour in Operaland? I had to work pretty hard in a vain attempt to scare off some young buck who has been trying to get her attention. Lucky I was around, is all I can say!…. :lol:)

    I know it’s hard and even for me after work all I want to do is VEG out LOL 🙁

    A mid week break is always nice like today it;s Weds and I am off too ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ..

    I get my lap top soon so I will be on my bed writing and enjoying the peace and quiet ,, no bla bla in my backgound lol.

  8. Hello Eve,My last two trips to Austria make me think of posting a little less than the last weeks. That means I think it’s not necessary (for me) to post something every day. I want to enjoy this blogging thing and I don’t want to spend too much time in front of the computer instead of feeling the life outside.   11. Yes I do understand you and I only wish I too will be out of the house and enjoying life as I was in Egypt.In Egypt I was not home that much unless I wanted to be home. I had to many places to go and to many people willing to share their days and nights with me.Here in USA NO 🙁 .. it’s like a job to find any one to do anything with man or woman. Even my sister whom I live with doesn’t want to get off the couch. It really upsets me since I am full of life NOW and want to enjoy it NOW.I am on the search for a social partner and even if I have to pick one up I will find one.. I am getting bolder now and I have business cards so I will start using them :DThanks for always sharing and wish me luck Eve
