Tech Support … Linksys

I have to report another great tech support experience.

I have subscribed to cable from DSL and I wanted to hook up
my wireless router so I can use my laptop on wifi.

I tried to do it myself however, I failed 🙁

I called tech support and got a wonderful lady in the Phillipenes.

She was baffled why it would not work and took 10 mins off the phone to
figure it out.

We spent hours trying to configure the box and after 2 hours I realized
I had the wrong cable into the router not the one from the modem, I told her,
"you can shoot me now " she laughed and said, " no problem, I am happy it's working."

She was very professional and gave me a sense of peace.
Whereas, the Lexmark guy gave me anger and fustration.
I thanked her for her patience and her calming way of dealing with the situation.

I will always recommend Linksys even though others have gone with Belkin.

Hi Dave,I work in electronic stores and during one visitto Circut City the manger was giving a lecture to the staffand Belkin and I interrupted him stating the CRSfor Linksys has been outstanding for me in all the years I haveowned their products which started in 1999 until present.I brought out points to his staff which they can use to sell Linksys products and now when I work in that store, they all speak to me about other things related to technology and I feel I am welcomed not frowned upon as some vendors are :)Happy to know you have one also.. 🙂
