  1. 🙂 … if I’ve seen this right … there’s John Cusack in the leading role … that would be the best of this movie, I guess … the rest is “bigger, better boom” like Independence Day …

  2. true and also the Quran relates to 2012 as welland in the Bible Revelations there is references to the end of time .. We have to understand that nothing last forever and the wayhumans are treating this earth … it’s running out of time .Changes have to be made and who knows even with changes if there is enough time. Thanks for your wonderful comment

  3. I wouldn’t say lies, but downright speculation, yes. People have been screaming the world’s going end almost as long as we’ve had languages. When you’re only looking for evidence to support your idea, you’re bound to find it if you look long enough. The Mayan calendar is just one of many ancient calendars, but this one ends a cycle on 2012. That’s bound to be like a magnet for speculation. On the 20th of December, 2012, the Mayan Long Count calendar starts a new cycle. The current cycle started 3114 BC, during an era where agriculture became widespread and the kingdom of Egypt is established. The Mayans believed we live in the fourth world and our world started at the start of the current cycle. 2012 is supposed to mark the return of a god, which some believe means a paradigm shift.I’d say we can’t know for sure if anythings gonna happen in 2012. But if anything, we can know for sure that what we’re doing during these centuries will change our civilisation for a long time into the future.

  5. Hi Fati,That looks intense. Independence day wasn’t my favorite, but I like John Cusack. What exactly *is* supposed to happen in 2012? The end of the world? The beginning of a new age? Something to do with the Mayan calendar or something?-David

  6. I believe there is more in this universe that has knowledge of what will be more so then just us humans.. Signs are present as well those whom wish to turn theirheads will miss what is in front of their faces.

  7. Hi David,Independance Day was a a movie to give thought too in my opinionand I guess it was to many.2012 has been marked to be the beging of the end as we know itI have not read that there will be a new begining.. I am not versed well in this issue only what I have read and really haven’t dove into research only from what I know in the Bible and the Quran.. Not to start a religious thread.. only shared this video:)

  8. Spooky! However, I agree with the DrLaunch, people have been predicting the end of the world for as long as there has been a human civilization. Some even make money off of such speculations (cough… the director… cough).

  9. :DAnother point is that I find it sad how your everyday crowd readily goes to see such movies “based” on prophecies of a long dead and not relevant for us cultures, yet laughs at and rejects anything coming from traditional faiths that have helped to shape the world we live in right now.

  10. you got that right.to those people it’s entertainment.Just today I watch the movie Rendition. Many disbelieve this practice is in usetoday also.. Sick world
